TALENT MANAGEMENT
From an Operational Management to a Human Talent Management. Currently the focus and priority of the Human Management or Human Resources areas is to work on what is called Human Talent Management. Those purely operational activities of processes related to the organization’s personnel should not prevent progress to another stage.
This new stage requires putting into practice at least the 10 key processes in Talent Management. These processes seek to attract, develop, motivate and retain the organization’s employees.
These 10 processes are: Planning, Recruitment, Onboarding, Strategic Plan, 360 Assessments, Leadership, Development, Recognitions, Competencies and Retention.
A fundamental piece of support to implement these processes is to have a Software Platform that includes them.
SPN SOFTWARE
SPN Software is a software platform that covers most of these processes in an integral way, including the payroll calculations component and all the interfaces and requirements of the Tax, Labor and Social Security Codes of the Dominican Republic.
Talent management is an ancient concept that has developed and grown in importance as companies have realized that what drives the success of their business are the talent and skills of their employees. The objective of organizations that have put talent management into practice is to solve the problem of employee retention. Talent management is further valued when organizations discover that it is three times more expensive for them to rehire than to retain one of their most valuable assets.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION OF TALENT MANAGEMENT
Digital transformation is Relevant to All Industries, only Speed and Adoption change. The IDC Corporation of the United States defines Digital Transformation as a continuous process through which companies adapt or implement disruptive changes in their organization, their customers and their market (external ecosystem) through the ability to replicate innovation in the business models, products and services, to naturally unify the digital and physical components.
In this way, they improve not only the customer experience but also the operational results and the efficiency of all the departments of the organization. There is talk of efficiency of the organization’s departments. Within these departments, one that has an important challenge in this digital transformation process is the Talent Management unit commonly known as Human Resources.
Within the Disciplines in a Digital Transformation process there is one related to the ‘Transformation of the Workforce’. It promotes the transformation of the way talent is accessed and connected within the organization.
In the process of digital transformation of Human Resources environments, on the one hand, the change in the perception of people’s own management must be combined, with the use of an integrative and flexible technology, on the other, that allows greater participation of all employees.
